URINETOWN is a hilarious tale of greed, corruption, love, and revolution! In a sad and run-down city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year draught, has led to a government-enforced ban on private bathrooms. The citizens must "pay to pee," using pay toilets owned by the evil Urine Good Company. But then a hero arises and plans a revolution so the town can finally "let our people go!" No, we're not kidding, this is a real show and actually won three Tony Awards. Yes, really.
