The Lions Club of Great Neck has very generously donated 2 Compact + portable magnifiers to the Great Neck Library. The Compact + lightweight magnifiers, the latest in low vision technology, are designed for an active lifestyle. The devices fit easily into your pocket, purse, knapsack or briefcase and can bring life into focus when you are on the go. With up to 8 X magnification on a 4 inch color screen, reading a menu, checking your airline ticket, or signing a receipt are now all possible through the use of the Compact +. The magnifiers circulate from the Main Library and may be borrowed by Great Neck Residents for 14 days.
