Pick up a green application form at the Library or call 466-8055, ext. 241 to make an appointment for your class.

ONLINE HELP… an E-mail Guide

The majority of people say e-mail is the number one reason they use the internet. So, WorldStart has put together an e-mail guide to help you learn the ropes. Since there are so many aspects to e-mail, they’ve put the information into various sections starting with e-mail etiquette.

Choose from young adult and adult fiction and nonfiction books. Try a new book or a classic.

Teens are invited to sign up at all Library locations. For Great Neck teens in grades 7 – 12.

Teens Take Charge

Teens Take Charge was started by two Long Island high school students in 2005. Search the “Organization Directory” or “Volunteer Opportunities” by category, including “Museums”, “Hospitals”,
“Soup Kitchens and Shelters”, “Environmental and Outdoors Work”, and more.
