Arsenic & Old Lace tells the tale of Brooklyn's eccentric (to say the least!) Brewster family.  Elderly aunts Abby and Martha have decided to begin poisoning all of the lonely old men in their neighborhood to put them out of their misery.  One of their three nephews believes that he's Teddy Roosevelt, another is a notorious criminal with a face like Frankenstein, and the third...well, he's a normal type who's about to marry a minister's daughter, and is less than pleased to discover that, as he puts it, “insanity runs in my family – it practically gallops!"  The original production played 1,444 performances on Broadway and was later adapted into the famous Frank Capra film starring Cary Grant and Peter Lorre.
